Who we are
Tudun Wada Microfinance Bank (TWMFB) is a microfinance bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Microfinance banking exists to bring proper, regulated financial services to individuals, traders and small businesses who are often left at the edge of the formal banking system — and that is the work we do every day.
Stark App is our internet banking service. It is the same bank, the same accounts and the same customer records you would find at the counter, made available to you online.

How we are regulated
We operate under a Central Bank of Nigeria microfinance banking licence and are subject to the CBN's prudential guidelines, its Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and its consumer protection framework. Customer deposits are insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), subject to NDIC coverage limits.
Because of those rules we will ask you to verify your identity before your account can be opened, and we may ask you for additional documents before raising your transaction limits.
How we work
- We only ask for the information we genuinely need to open and run your account.
- We tell you what a transaction will cost and who it is going to before you confirm it.
- We keep a record of the security events on your profile so you can check them yourself.
- If something goes wrong, we tell you what happened rather than hiding behind an error code.
